The Locket since 1850 has function of keeping important memories close to the heart. This pendant was probably made in Italy around the 70s in yellow gold and enamels. The surface demonstrates the precision of its creator who placed tiny gold sheets on the enamel to create the floral motif as required by the paillonné technique. The opening and closing mechanism is still ready to store memories as a precious "Cloud".
